Working for the Weekend
Every week it’s the same. Sunday night is dreadful because you know tomorrow’s Monday and the start of a new work week with way too many days separating you from the next weekend. The only thing that makes Mondays bearable is my TV lineup (90210 and pawn stars!). Tuesdays are also tough, but at least it isn’t Monday right? Wednesday is hump day, so you usually feel pretty good knowing you are halfway there. Thursday is awesome because you can finally say “tomorrow is Friday!” Also, Thursdays are Jersdays (Jersey Shore!). And here we are, we finally made it to Friday! It’s like the Christmas Eve of the weekend!
Here are some things I am looking forward to this weekend:
- Dinner at Locanda Verde tonight to catch up with a friend
- Pilates class and some tennis (outdoors, weather permitting)
- Sunday brunch at Buttermilk Channel (best pancakes EVER)
- Trip to Target to snatch up dresses from the GO International Designer Collective :)
- Daylight savings! So looking forward to it still being light out when I get out of work
